Mark Goodman is licensed to practice law in both Nevada and California. Mr. Goodman is also a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In order to achieve this designation, he was required to demonstrate a high level of understanding of United States patent law and regulations and hold a degree in a scientific or technical discipline.
EDUCATION
Mr. Goodman received his Juris Doctor (law degree) from the University of San Francisco School Of Law in 2005. There, he was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for having the highest grade in Constitutional Law. He represented the law school in the Giles Rich Moot Court Competition, was president and co-founder of the Bio-law association, published two articles in law school publications, and received the Intellectual Property/Cyber Law Certificate upon graduation.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in from the University of California, Berkeley in Molecular and Cell Biology in 2001. In addition to completing academic coursework, he helped advance cell biology research science as a junior scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He also represented the University as the starting right forward for the University’s Ice Hockey team.
