In the State of Nevada, all district court judges, including family law judges, are selected in non-partisan elections. This means that incumbent family law judges must stand for re-election every six years. This year, incumbent Family Law Judge Chuck Weller is running for re-election. We at Goodman Law Center strongly support Judge Weller in his re-election bid. We believe that Judge Weller is a highly skillful mediator, and that, as such, he is instrumental in encouraging opposing parties to “come together” early on in litigation. By effectively caucusing both with parties and counsel, Judge Weller oftentimes is able to achieve an earlier, less expensive resolution of hotly contested cases. We wholeheartedly endorse the campaign of Judge Weller!
